The car registration has it weighed in at 2975. I've yet to verify that.
I've not had it over 4200rpm because unless it slips I've been told with traction the BB tq will hurt the Super T-10. It feels really powerful though !

Would I be igniting flames if I ask opinions on the car's value retention with a 4 speed manual body Auto trans versus a 5 speed G-Force transmission ? All I've owned in my Fords were T-5's, Tremec Tko's and Tremec 600's.

I have a few friends who say it would be a shame to go automatic ( even a manully shifted unit) ...that...the 5 speed is a MUST. But those are the same guys who will be all over me at a red light and certainly at the track someday !!

 

Auto's do come out on top in the 1/4 mile IMO.

 

Most moving companies will weigh for a nominal fee, generally $10.
You can't hurt a BW T-10, as the slip factor, the rear tires, will give way, unless you do a 8K rpm clutch dump...

Up to you for trans swapout. If you believe you will never miss a shift, get a good launch at the starting line, and can shift faster than an automatic, then go for a manual at the track.

I would look into a THM200-4R trans as it has a better, read shallower, first gear ratio.
You already have the torque, use it to your advantage, as you may weigh less than average.
Get a new alum driveshaft with 1350 U-joints, probably have one already. Ask the driveshaft vendor has he wants you to measure the length.

There ae a few companies who make brake setups. Look into every company as the pricing can fluctuate dramatically as you will see if you look enough.
