new dash panel installed wrong

Default new dash panel installed wrong

need a clear picture of the area where the A pillar and dash panel come together without the windshield installed. can anyone help?

yes that helps alot.was the black panel trimmed to sit flush with the primered panel? thanks Dave

well from what I understand my guy had to cut out all the rusted area from the panel underneath where the dash panel sits.


Then he took a piece of sheet metal, cut it to fit, then welded it on so the dash panel would just sit down on it without having to trim it. But I cant say for sure that he didnt have to trim any of the new dash panel away because I did not see the new piece welded on before he put the dash panel on and dont remember if he said he had to trim anything away.

the new pics explain whats going on with mine.the piece your guy fabricated is on my panel and instead of trimming it the former owner just welded it over the existing panel. thanks for all your help.Dave
