Default Need some used tires on 67 camaro

Hello everyone,

I have a '67 Camaro RS/SS I've had for a long time. It's in pretty rough shape. All that I need to get it putting around town again is a set of 235/60/15's.

I can't believe how hard it is to find a used set of these, but no one apparently uses 15 inch wheels anymore.

Does anyone anywhere near the Nashville area have a used set?

Thanks,
brandon

Here's about the only picture I have uploaded. The picture makes it look like it's a lot better condition than what it is. This was my father's old dealership, before the new GM came and closed it up and then (coincidentally) the local county government, at the exact same time, decided to tear down their building so they could build a new judicial center there. The building had been there since the 20s. I miss it a lot. (That girl is now my wife).

Welcome to the site. Would like to help but like you said used are hard to come by in that size. I think you need 3 posts in your post count before pics can be posted. Try getting a couple more posts and then trying to put the pics up again. I'd like to see them. Are you near shelbyville or murfreesboro by any chance?

Yeah, Murfresboro is about an hour away. A few years ago I used to go to the car show they had there at the mall parking lot.

Thanks for the response. I'll try again in a bit.

I think my car, personally, looks a lot better since I've taken any pictures. Since my father's dealership closed I've pretty much been broke as a joke, and since I used to be able to run my license and insurance through the company, it's difficult to afford the vehicles now. (I got spoiled with free oil changes and a heated garage free to use with a lift on the weekends as long as I had it out by monday)

I got a broken front spoiler and mended it with a solder gun, made my own front brackets to make it work and made it adjustable. I got the front license plate bracket off an old 93 buick century and made my own mounts using junk metal lying around the shop and I found a couple old fog lights and made brackets and mounted them under the bumper (70 AAR Cuda style) on the front.

I suppose it sounds hacked together, but in my opinion it came together well and looks infinitely better than the bare looking front that was there.

I had a hard time finding 235 60 14s for mine. Found a new set on ebay from a company for $78 each with free shipping. Look up user discounttiredirect on ebay.
