Can anyone tell me the width of the horseshoe shifter? I'm working on a project for my kid and can't seem to find one locally to get dimensions from. Your help is greatly appreciated.

It's amazing that 52 people on this forum viewed this request and not one of you has a horseshoe shifter and would spend the time to measure it for this member.

Actually, I find it more likely that the 52 members who viewed this thread, myself included, don't have a horseshoe shifter to measure against.

I find it extremely hard to believe that every one of the 81 views (now) all have manual transmissions. Not one automatic!

Do you want the width of the mounting plate?

If it makes you feel any better, I have no idea what a "horseshoe" shifter is.

Thanks fellas. My kid wants me to install a horseshoe shifter in my 4th gen. Sadly I think it may be too wide for the factory console. Thanks for the help.
