NEED HELP - What's my car worth?
Hi everyone - I need some advice. I need to sell my 68 Camaro SS Convertible and need some help placing value and what my asking price should be.
I have a 1968 Camaro SS Convertible - True SS, with the matching #'s 350. All original drive train, 12 bolt posi and the two speed powerglide column shift transmission. This car has been professionally restored and only some final assembly work needs to be done to complete the car. (installation of bumpers, side market lights, (standard) grille, headlights and the interior. ALL chrome is original and has been re-chromed to show quality. Not a highly optioned car, but it does have the original power motor for the top and front disk brakes.
No expense was spared in the restoration. The 350 was completely rebuilt by a racing engine shop in Indianapolis. 67K miles are the original miles on the vehicle.
Let me know your professional opinions! Ask questions and I'll answer as soon as possible.

No, I don't have any original paperwork (no build sheet or protect-o-plate). All I have is the the original owners manual and registration. The only positive is that the 350 engine is the original, matching numbers engine, so we know it came off assembly line as an SS.
Could have been anywhere inside the car, stuffed under the back seat was one place. But those original places are gone with a restoration. The garbage can at the end of the assembly line was another place they were put. When the car came to the end of the line, a worker had to get rid of the sheet. Either they stuffed it in the car, or threw it out. Keeping it with the car was not required.
