Default Need help with car Identification

Can anyone help me identify my 69....
I bought the car in 2006.
The idea was to bring it back to the original look, but upgrade the drive train for a daily driver/fun car.
This poor car was cut up (firewall, cowl and dash pan, as well as the rear inner wheel wells. (bad attempt at a tub)
Had a 400 SBC and a 9" Ford 9 bolt...... A poor man's race car.
It has Z-28 badges in the grille and trunk back. (Only holes on the trunk lid). An after market spoiler was put on.
There are no holes in the fenders at all.... but I think they are the original. They match the wear on the rest of the car. Is that normal?
The car was chopped up a bit, but the body was nearly rust free in the important places.
Also the doors were replaced for some reason (paint was frost green).
It was a standard shift, with front disk brakes with an over sizes master cylinder.

the VIN shows
1 2 4 3 7 9 L 5 2 8 ***
69 Chev Camaro 8 Cylinder Built in Los Angeles

Fisher Tag

ST 69 12437 VN313572 BDY
TR711 52 52 PNT
04A A556

From the places I looked at it is a 1969 Camaro
Built in Los Angels in the first week in April
Black interior
Garnet Red Body

Is there any way to find out if it is a Z or not?
Thanks for your help.

Read up over at Camaro Research Group.
Tag needs X33 or X77 on it.

Default Car ID and headliner install

Hi
Thanks for the info
I found a site that said the LOS cars in the firs part of the tear did not add the X numbers.
That made me wonder...
PS
I did send you the before and after with my head liver....A long story and some pictures.
It did not show up and I did not get an error message of any kind.
I screwed up somewhere..??? and will try again.
The install

went really well!!
