New here, first post. Finally found the VIN number on a 67 Camaro I owned and sold 23 years ago. I want to locate this car. Any advise on tracking history on a 13 digit VIN?

It depends on the state and where the car ended up or exist at all anymore. Some times its just easier to build a replica of your car.Good hunting .

I live in CA where they don't tell you squat due to the privacy laws out this way, but I will tell you how I ended up finding a couple of my old cars. I went to the DMV and told the clerk that I "just wanted to know if my old car is still on the road?" and then if it is, I'll keep looking. I've found like I say 2 old cars. Of course, not the 2 I really wanted to find, but non the less, it helped me if they were still on the road.
