Nantucket blue???
Hey people, we need some help!!!
We just bought this 67 and are anxious to start the body work. As you can see it has been trough a few layers of different colors in time, some form of red being the last attempt from the previous owner's shot at restoring it. When we looked at it, while decoding the info on the plate I misread the color code and thought it was Tahoe Turquoise which my wife and I instantly fell in love with. Searching for info again today, I realized my mistake, since color code is D-2 with Nantucket Blue as the correct lower body color.
Our idea was to restore the car to original specs and color, but we are so sure about this Nantucket color deal. To us, it looks more of a boring greyish tone than a blue one, although we were not able to find any good pictures of it on the internet.
Any of you guys with a Nantucket Blue car out there that can help us out with some pictures? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Oh man, I know how much you had your heart set on it being turquoise too.
And any shade of blue just won't be the same. I can be out there tomorrow to get the car out of your sight, so you don't have to put up with the pain any longer.
Actually, nantucket blue looks pretty nice. Does this help: http://www.69pace.com/paint1967nantucketblue.htm
Just say f*** it, paint it nantucket!!!

On a side note I am very picky when it comes to colors and I don't think that for the first gen camaros chevy ever came out with an ugly color, but hey, that is just my opinion.
