My new project arrived!!
IT CAME!! IT CAME!!!!
I picked up my new 69 Camaro today from Matson. It's actually better than I had hoped. There isn't a spot of rust on the floor pans or trunk. The body itself is a "DRIVER" or 20 foot looker. But this gives me a chance to practice paint repair before I take it down to metal for a paint job. Motor runs good, but the LS3/4L65E is on it's way and should be here in a couple weeks. Until then I get to install the parts I already have (RS grill with hide-away lights, center console, steering column, weather stripping, etc.). I'll post pics on my photobucket account when I download them onto the computer. The car looked blue in the pics I had, but it's actually a teal green. Kind of wierd because my camera makes it look blue as well.

Except it will be a dark grey (the color of Eleanor on the new 'Gone in 60 Seconds' movie) and the stripes and hood graphics will be in a carbon fiber look. Haven't decided on the wheels yet though.
