Default My new project

I have a 1967 RS/SS 350 4 speed and I need to get headers.I see the steering box is so close to the stock manifold (actually touching it) and the guy I got it from said that you have to get some special headers to fit this application but all the part sites just list small block headers. Does anyone have any experience with this situation?
Also I see that someone has swapped out the stock mono springs in the rear for multileaf and they are too soft and not in good shape.I have a custom built set on my 1970 that I will be replacing and was wondering if the springs will work on my '67. I just replaced the wiring with a painless harness and I highly recommend this upgrade.
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Is it not a stock steering box or something?
Are you putting a big block in it?
Not sure what you mean about sites only showing small block headers,a 350 is a small block so small block headers should fit?
As far as that goes there are plenty of big block headers for 1st gen Camaros readily available as well, where are you looking?
I had headers on my '69 with a big block that fit well with the exception of one tube that had to be dinged just a bit for clearance.
Pictures?

Hooker Super Comp Headers tight fit but do fit. Make sure they are for the 67 Camaro.

Default 1967 rs/ss

Great find! I'm jealous, I have been looking for an early RS/SS but seem to only find junk that is way overpriced. Please post pics as your work progresses, I'm anxious to get ideas when I finally find the right one. good luck!
