Gorgeous car! Looks absoutely perfect! I personally like the blackwall tires better.
I'm running smallblock springs in the front of my '71 with a 427 BB, and it sure doesn't sit down as low as your car seems to. I wonder if someone used lowering springs instead of SBC springs?
I think your tire choice will work great, and probably not have any rubbing issues.
