i got my 4 speed console with gauges at a swapmeet for 400.00 (and its sweet )its not a repop, you can look at swapmeets or buy a new one from lots of places

 

..since my first thought on changing them and since having seen "thousands" more I'm liking them more..Now I just got to get'em working..but Thor, you would keep them because "most people prefer them"

 

..I think it was camaro69 that said it wasnt a big thing to swap over..he didnt mention anything about "cutting up" the car..anyway since I asked for advise earlier I'm beginning to favor them..As far as selling it this is too sound and solid a car to get rid of because of a preference of something an minor as the headlights when buying another in this shape is way too much money or not in good shape and cost way too much to get it as good as this one..I think. I'm still learning good stuff everyday thanks to yall!

 

..thanks Mike..as I mentiomed earlier mine is auto 700r4, 4spd with OD..is that what u have..I cant even find a new one complete with gauges that has the 4spd OD indicator plate,,

 

mine is a 4 speed manual but take alook at ss396.com web site search transmission indicator
