Looking for the right trans in my 68 camaro

I have a 1968 camaro with a t10 borg warner 4 speed I would like to change it to a 5 speed but I'm told the borg warner t5 is not very good.Does anyone know of the best type of trans to use? What type of car I would be able to find one in? I have a 302 motor with 400 plus hp.
