Hey everyone,

So for the last few years I keep looking at different projects to work on for my next one, and while all of them seem enticing I can't stop wanting a 69 camaro project. The problem is, there doesn't seem to be anyone wanting to sell them at least not near me.

My hope is that someone might have a lead on one or want to be getting rid of one themselves, and that I might be able to ****** it up. I don't need it to have a motor or transmission, I really just need it to have a solid frame and decent or good floors, with not super rusted body panels being a huge plus, and I can probably do everything else from there.

Problem number two comes in that my budget is limited, and I know trying to get a 69 Camaro on a budget is not going to be easy, but if anyone has anything or any leads for $4k or under, (preferably under as 4k is my current limit with money set aside to actually work on it.

So if anyone any leads or is just looking to get rid of one, please reach out as it would be greatly appreciated.

You can't buy 2 new factory front fenders for 4k
I paid 22K for a plain jane lump 68 project
They are out there, but 4k is way too low

you need more $. A $4k shell will be nothing but rust

 

The sum of all the parts on a rust bucket are worth more than the complete car. You will be lucky to find a roller for less than $10K without a drive train. IMHO.
