Default Looking into buying a 67. Need opinions

Hey guys,

I'm looking into buying a 67 camaro. It is definitely a project, but it has all new metal, a LS1 Engine, has the wiring harness and computer, but harness will have to modified or sent out to get done. The guy also has all the glass minus the windshield and all the interior, but it will need to be redone. It has tubular a-arms, disc brakes, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Anyways, the guy is asking 11k. The body is all straight and all the panels that need to be replaced already were, so it just needs paint, plus engine work and interior and then wheels and tires. What would you guys value this at? Thanks in advance.

What condition is the LS1? New? used? high or low miles. The real question is how well was the work done and how solid is what was not worked. I have seen cars with all new metal that were a complete mess and it would cost more to fix the fixs then it would have cost to fix the car right in the first place.

11 seems a little high unless the car was taken all the way down, either dipped or blasted and body work was all done by a real pro with the receipts to back that up. Also the condition of the LS1 plays a big part, A new or super low miles LS is worth 5-6K but a 100,000+ miles LS1 would be more like $1500. Unfinished project always sell for less then the owner has invested.
