Look what I found sitting along a backroad in Ohio today.....
I have heard this car was sitting there, and finally went looking for it today. As far as I can tell, it has been sitting for many, many years. The 302 emblems on the hood, and some of the z28 emblems were removed years ago. I beat on the door, and hear people inside mention that there was someone at the door, probably wanting to ask about the car.....but they wouldn't come to the door. It is only about an hour from my house. I may try to stop back by again.
Sorry about the quality, I took these with my phone. I forgot and left home without my camera.

Sweet, There is a 67 about a mile from me, it's in good bare shape....kinda wanna take it and build it up with a BB and turn the 74 into a SB car. I'll have to post some pics of it.
My guess with all of that grass groing around it, it is rotten through and through... Might be good for parts though... If the interior is still intact... adn it hasn't leaked too much... and if the... nevermind, I probably still would be wary trying to get in it...
That's a damn shame! Next time you go out there, dress like the UPS man. Then they may open the door for you.
Gheez, that is a crying shame that the car is obviously just going to sit in that grass and rot away. The owners have abviously been hounded about that car and would rather it rot to nothing than sell it to someone that is going to take care of it and restore it. That crap pisses me off! [:@]

The 68 pickup truck I am restoring was garage kept until the owner died. It sat in a field for two-three years. Because of those years I have to replace the bottom 8 inchs of the truck all the way around. (click on the link in my sig to see it: Dinger)A titled 69 camaro sill have value regardless of its condition. Just from what your typed it sounds like they are tired of talking to people that want tobuy it. So my guess is they won't sell because itmeans something to them or there is no title or its not theirs.
I am not saying you should not stop by again. Just don't get your hopesup.I found my pickup lastyear just like you did, nofor sale sign. WhenI post about the 60,000 miles alloriginal (even the paint) find for $700.I got a reply back from a guy that had driven by that truckmany times but did not have the time to stop and ask. Hewas kickinghimself pretty hard.

Just found it interesting to see it along the road. It is sitting on Ohio Route 50, between Athens and Chillicothe. Someone else can pursue it.....
Just a neat find though.
