the factory didnt have silver in 68 for camaro but the code for 1969 cortez silver is 69

well thats factory silver he could have a different silver on that 68. it could be a custom color out a chip book.

Close enough. Went down to the local paint shop and looked at the color. On a sample looks great. Shall see what it really looks like when the car is ready.

are you having it stripped or are you doing it yourself? i took my 68 to bare metal by hand sanding. had the cowl,hood and trunk blasted becasue the hood have over 15 layers of paint on it.

I went with a PPG Silver. Cant remember the code but i can try and look it up if you want. It's been 5 or 6 yrs ago when i painted it. I tried to match the color of Mark Stielow's "Mule" 69 Camaro back then which he has since repainted it yellow...
