Default Led headlights

installed led headlights today, and my rs doors wouldn't close anymore but would open. Then I realized they wouldn't close because when I turned the headlight switch off they didn't turn all the way off they had a very dim light to them. They were the direct replacement plug in kind so I didn't have to do any wiring. Any ideas why they won't turn all the way off?

Swap in regular headlamps in engine compartment and see if the doors close.
Ensure the ground wire from headlight connector is in good condition, as in removing them and wire brushing both the terminal and radiator support.
Might even run a test jumper from support to battery neg terminal.

Yea the doors close when I put the originals back in. I am going to try some 2ohm resisters this weekend and I'll double check the grounds. Hopefully that works. Thanks for the reply.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? They may have seen this before and know exactly what to do? I'm curious because I was thinking about installing a set into my 68 once its back on the road. Do you have a link to the ones you tried?

I don't have the band right now. But I put 6om resisters on the bright side and it fixed the problem and the rs doors work again.
