I'd recommend you subscribe to the online version of Hemmings Motor news while you shop. Also, don't forget auto trader classics. Do take your time, try to find something close enough to look at personally, or spend the money on a trustworthy independant inspector. (A recent $275 investment in one of those saved me from a $42,000 mistake.)
