A definite improvement.... K&N makes an inexpensive breather. I would dump that old points distributor for an HEI, Newer Edelbrock to an MSD box, or go with a Pertronix set up. Then I would dump the old Alternator Bracket, there are few others on the market like Zoops or March that do a much better job of securing the alternator at high rpms.

How close is your fuel line is to the lower radiator hose? If it's laying right on the hose you might want to move it, if moving it is an issue you a black zip tie and tie off to something.

Have you ever thought about Z/28 finned valve covers? They have the correct bolt pattern, breathers AND you get the ever-so-cool V-Flag Insignias.

I haven't figured out how to post pics, but you can see my engine set-up on my 67 SS/RS in my profile.

You have a really nice setup. Just looking I really need to do something about the plug wires, they keep falling onto the headers and melting.

I had the same problem, so I got a set of wire looms, insulator boots, and top it off with some 4" wing handles.
