Default Installing rear spoiler on 67

My 67 Camaro was made early in 1967 which means the trunk lid did not have any provision for adding a rear spoiler, unlike those made later in 1967. Is this a tuff proceedure? Does anyone out there have experience doing this? And what tips could you provide. Thank you for any feedback.

The rear spoiler wasn't available on any 1967's, that was a 68-69 option. You'll need to drill large holes on the back side of the lid so you can reach in with a socket.
Replacing the lid is another option, but more costly. This video shows installing a spoiler on a 67, but notice it's not on the original lid.
