Increase or Decrease 67 Camaro value by upgrading?
Have an all stock #'s matching base 67 Camaro 327/Auto/Non-AC. It even has a column shift. I would really appreciate some expert opinions out there on if upgrading certain components will decrease in the eye of a collector or increase value in a general buyer sense.
Convert the OEM manual drum brakes to power disc brakes?
Convert the OEM points distributor to HEI?
Convert the powerglide transmission to a 700r4/2004r?
Redo the OEM ragtop or do away with it?
Convet the column shift to a console with floor shifter?
Convert the 2BBL with 4BBL and aluminum intake?
I want to make this a daily driver and will be keeping everything else on the car including paint the OEM color.
If you could spare some time in giving some helpful advice that would be great so I know which way to start rebuilding this classic! Thanks again!

Keep the old parts so if you decide to sell it you can restore it or sell them and let them put it back. if it is all stock then changes can and will lower the price. all stock Camaro s will always bring more $$ than a modded one to a collector

opinions ok heres mine, it all depands on what YOU have the car for ,fun or just to make a buck, and depands on who buys it some people buy them for the way it came from chevy ( stock ) or big motor and a 4 speed ,if you have fun the way it is leave it alone ,or change it and keep the old parts in the corner of the garage , just have FUN

You should make you car so you like it. The way the market is right now since your car does not have any rare option it generally not something a big dollar collector is looking for but since you have all the original parts you should keep them all together and document the upgrades. That way if the market shifts is 10 years you could return to original or give the parts to the next guy so he could.
Depend on your money situation I would be temped to pull the 327 along with the tranny, shoot some oil in the spark plug hole and set it aside so you dont have to worry about it getting damages. I would stop short of cutting up the floor for a new tranny also the HEI may have clearnace issue you might want to look into the Petronics Convertion kit
