How do I hook up a tachometer?

Default How do I hook up a tachometer?

I was just wondering if it was hard to hook up a tach and if anyone has step by step procedures? thanks!

If you buy a new tack it will have instruction. Its not hard to do at all

what are you running for a distributor and/or ignition system?

all you have to do is ground your black wire to a good peice of paint free meatl then your red wire to some thing that comes on with the swich try running it to your fuse box just try differnt ones till you find one that comes cuts off and on with the swich now your white wire needs to go to some thing that gets power when you turn your head lights on now your last wire is probably green you need to run this wire out under the hood on you distrbutor ther will be wires going to your cap right above those wires it will say bat and tac simply put a connector like a regular speaker wire connector and plug it in on the one that says tac hope that helps
