Default Hole in my clutch fork?!?!??!?!?!

Am currently installing clutch linkage in my 68 with big block & muncie 4 speed and noticed I have a "hole" in my clutch fork so therefore my clutch adj. push rod slides right thru . Anyone ever seen anything like this? am i gonna need to fabricate a bushing that the rod can sit in? surely im missing a piece somewhere or has to be a simple fix. Please see attached image. Thanks for any and all help!!

Or you could get the right clutch fork. The one you should have looks nothing like that one. http://www.classicindustries.com/cam...rts/g8554.html

I can't see enough of your clutch fork to see if it's worn through, or wrong, but a new one is better than repairing it.
