Default High Torque Mini-Starter

I have headers on my 68 Camaro which are only 1/4” from the starter. This causes the starter to get hot and restarting is difficult. I was told that some of the late model cars have mini starters that are compatible and can be sourced at a salvage yard. Does anyone know what years are compatible for a 327 with a turbo transmission? Appreciate the help.

IDK what year donor offset gear reduction starter fits but typically people just re-locate the starter solenoid when header heat causes starter issues...and or using a starter blanket.

I would just an aftermarket one like a Titon .With a Moroso starter heat shield .This is what I used on my 1979 Z-28 with a supercharged small block,And my 1981 El Camino SS with a 290 HP 350 .dailey driver with no issues
