Hey guys i found a deal on a pretty clean camaro i think but i need your help i am brand new to muscle cars. Ok so i am getting this car for 7000 its a 68 with non matching numbers 350 motor its just a regular camaro not rs or ss. got a crappy paint job and one of the doors does not line up along neither does the trunk.Ok so now im worried about frame damage..I couldn't find any rust is there a way to check for bondo? Ok sorry i know its kinda of a broad question but figured you guys would know..Its got a pretty clean interior..Sorry just want to know if im getting a good deal or keep looking?

well one method to look for bondo is to run a magnet over the car where there might be bondo. look at the bottom of the car and around the windows because thats where the cars like to rust and people like slap bondo in there to cover it.

Kinda hard to say without pictures. What you are worried as being "frame damage" might only be a poor panel/door/trunk lid replacement job. It may only need some quality time to adjust those correctly. Then again, the car could be a pretzel. We need pics.

Can't make a lot out of it. The hood looks like it just needs an adjustment on the drivers side, and the nose panel in front of the hood has been pushed down in the center, it looks misshapen. You'll have to go over the rest of the car with a fine tooth comb. Look for rust anywhere, top to bottom. When checking for bondo with a magnet, use one of those weak thin refrigerator type magnets. It'll help to make even the slightest bit of bondo more detectable. If it is a good solid driver, then $7k isn't a bad price, but I would still make a lower offer.
