What? I can't run truck wheels LOL! I know I snagged the picture off a truck forum

Do you think they would look stupid on my car if I found two more for the front? (Your talking to a guy who's wife picks out his cloths for work ok... I'm semi color blind)

Another option might be these. I like the "Old School" look, but these might go. What do you guys think? (If I could talk him down). Would these fit and do you think they would look good?

Boyd Wheels & BFGoodrich Tires

BTW, if I do stay with the steel rims, I will get those Firestones.

The one thing that looks goofy is the truck style center cap. They might look ok, but I'm kinda up in the air about the looks. Those look like they have a fair amount of back spacing, or is it an illusion? I can't see pictures of those other ones without logging in an account. But if they are from a 4th Gen car (seeing as that's what the seller has), then they would have a ton of back-spacing, and won't clear your springs/inner fender well.

Yeah, the rims I have do have a bit of backspacing. Was running late this morning and didn't get a chance to measure them, but it looks a lot deeper than the 3.5 inches I have with my current rims.

I do have the steel rims mounted with some M.T's (26/8.5/15) so I'll throw them on the ride tonight and at least get a feel for how they fit. Might give me a better idea?/

here are some pictures of the 17's I found. And yeah, they look like they have a lot of backspacing too (More than my steel rims at home). The picture of the single rim is the backside of the rim.

17x9.5 Boyd Timeless 2 Billet Wheels and 275/40ZR17 BFGoodrich g-force KDWS T/A tires. In great shape!

Hmmmm yeah, I don't see those clearing without using adapter/spacers. Not too bad looking tho.

They look pretty fat alright. Using an adapter or spaces doesn't sound that bad... are they easy to get?..... (I'm learning not to assume the simple things anymore lol)

I was looking at the specs for that tire. They're not a really tall tire which surprised me.
BFGoodrich g-Force Sport

What do you think? He's asking $800, but if I could get him to $600 which is what my budget is do you think this is workable?

the chevelle has custom ralley wheels from wheel vintiques that are 15x10 in rear with 5.5 inch bs to stuff the tire in the wheel well with out rubbing issues.
the camaro has 15x10 with 4 inch bs but i have nova 3 leaf rear springs with adjustable shackle kit (lifted rear) as i like the day 2 look over the slammed look everyone likes these days. pics from rear of both cars

Hey burnt, did you ever go by the name of "Predator" on another forum? That Chevelle is identical to that other one I remember, and that guy was from Illnoise too.

That's a nice Chevelle!

Anyway, I'm still looking for a set of rims. I found a set of Rally rims (vette) 15x7 without center caps or trim rings with rubber for $270. 245 60 15s and two are 225 70 15. two are Eagle ST and othe other two are GTs.

BTW, the truck tire I posted above won't fit. Wrong bolt pattern...

corvette ralleys are 15x8, dont put truck wheels on a camaro its a sin!!! LOL
my wheels are 15x8 front and 15x10 rear, 15 x 7 will work on your camaro just cant put a real fat tire on them like a 295/50/15. i would go with 235/60/15 up front or smaller and then see what will best fit the rear without rubbing.
