Wow that is very honest of them, I thought they would try to take some money before they gave you the straight answer.
Is there a reason you think the car is still in one piece or even in the country? Thieves know that possessing a stolen car is a ticket to jail. Once it is stolen it becomes a hot Potato. even none professional knows to get the car to a pro ASAP. The internet is full of stories of people getting cars back even 30 years later but I would guess that is in the under 1% of the actual thefts.

The bad part is that if anyone ever Googles this Vin number this thread will be at the top of the list. It is showing who ever the owner thought had this car was aware it was stolen on or before 4-19-2017.

Hey, glad to hear that, and you're welcome. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the story, at least that which can be disclosed to the public.
