Default HELP...Low Air Volume on High Blower Speed (AC)

Has anyone found a solution to the wimpy air flow on a 69 factory AC Camaro yet? I've heard a lot of people complaining about it but have never heard of a solution. I'm thinking about wiring the blower motor to run on 18 VDC or some higher voltage to see if I can get it to blow harder on high. Any comments?[/align]

May want to check the air doors and seals, and clean out the condenser fins to let the air through. They get pretty gunked up over the years. Running the fan on 18 Volt will definitely speed it up, but it also will burn out. Where is the 18 Volt coming from?

I guess I should have posted the fact that the complete AC system has been rebuilt with all components either new or reconditioned and calibrated i.e. nothing wrong with anything whatsoever.
Ihaven't decided on the increased voltage until I see if anyone has come up with anthing else I think would work better. It wouldn't be too difficult...just some extra components/wiring that I would have to hide to make it look factory.

Not sure about factory a/c but vintage air has flexible ducts. If they are not stretched tight the ribs in the duct will severely restrict air flow.
