Default Help with engine numbers on 396

I have a 396 in my 69 SS Camaro with the following numbers on the block pad just below the passenger head. I know it is not numbers matching or even a big block car but just trying to figure out what year the engine is? Type of car/truck it came from? 4 bolt main? Etc...

The numbers are 112081V & 8Y159334. I think this is correct, very hard to see but 2 of s came up with the same numbers after looking at it closely. Thanks, Scott

Look for the block casting date on the bellhousing flange. If not there, look for it on the passenger side of the block near a casting plug hole.
A couple of digits in that first set doesn't make sense. Make sure that 1V isn't actually IV. If so, that code was used for the 1965, 66, 67 and 68 396.
And, is it possible that first "1" is really a "T"? That would mean Tonawanda engine plant, and the 1208 stands for December 8 assembly date.
Also, some big blocks had some numbers stamped on a pad above the timing chain cover.
