I am looking for an aftermarket supplier for a reliable heater core.

Should have what you need,keep in mind there are different cores for big and small block and with or without AC may be different as well.

I bought mine from rockauto. Copper, not aluminum. Been fine for years now.

Note replacement cores are about 1/4" thinner than originals so you will need to bend the stock retainer clip in the suitcase. No big deal.
