heater core

Default heater core

looks like my next project is to change the heater core, one off the inlet tubes is missing did one on my 66 a long time ago it wasnt bad never did one on a camaro . do i need to take the fender off and the blower motor is mounted to a plastic cover i thought they where all metal maybe someone changed it in the past ???? thanks

You get to it all from the inside. Remove the high quality cardboard glove box, then the heater box is easy to access.
Since mine is a nice weather only car, I bypassed and removed the heater core for less clutter in the engine compartment.

good to no all the work gets done from the inside yea a friend of mine said you dont drive in the winter so why fix it lol

Exactly, if you never need to use the heat, then why bother. Plus the heater core, as you now know, is just another source for a possible leak.
