Default Header gasket preference

Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and it's been awhile since I did much wrenching. 10 years ago, when I installed my last pair of headers, copper gaskets were the way to go. I just bought a 69 and I'm swapping in some Doug Thorleys. Are copper gaskets recommended or is there a better option now?

I use

Mr. Gasket aluminum layered exhaust gaskets are reusable header or exhaust manifold gasket sets that conform to and seal surface irregularities and warped flanges. They will not shrink, deteriorate, or blow out.

I have always used FelPro….whatever one you use, re-tighten header bolts after a few heat cycles
