i just got mypacesetter headers fixed so they dont rub when they get done and check the header gasket there was a leak ive only had i for a wk driven it then he tells me that the header gasket will always come lose and im goin to be buyin alot of header gaskets i need u guys to tell me if yours always comes lose and what u did to fix it or do u tightin them dailyand does the stage 8 headers bolts workhope i didnt leave anything out

ive been told and read before, for first 2 or 3 weeks, your gonna have to tighten header bolts every 3 days or so, so bolts can set in, like you would on rims. if that helps.

What kind of gasket are you using? I like to use Percy's. They are a soft laminated and compressible gasket that conforms to irregularities in the mating surfaces. They're less prone to leaks, and are reusable too.

pacesetters are junk. i have a set and blew both the manifold gaskets because they suck too. about every month or so i have to tighten up the flanges.

hey i had that problem with my big block in my 75 shotbed get lock washers they arent the suggested thing but they worked also at advance auto or auto zone they have special header bolts that you run a wire through all they bolts and it locks them there are many different products out there for your problem just look around and ask but for a temp fix you could try the locking washers
