Default Gorilla Balance Bar Dual Master Cylinder

I am in process of changing over my brake system to 4 Disc on my 1968 Camaro. I want to run power assist but engine vacuum too low to be safe. I am thinking about using the Gorilla Bal-Bar Dual Master Cylinder system. Does anyone have first hand experience with this system on their personal car. I have looked at all the website pictures, drawings & instructions. I could not find any pictures of the firewall, after the modification had been made prior to the master cylinder installation, nor pictures from under the dash. How big of a hole must be cut for the 2 pushrods that go to the master cylinders. On the website they show to have a steel mounting bracket & show a side picture of the pedal assembly, but I am not clear on how this bracket is attached...kind of looks like it is welded along the top of the pedal assembly. I have not used one of these forums before so hopefully this is acceptable & is going into the 1st Generation section. Any comments, pictures or insite on this system would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey man I have a 68 also.

I don't have any experience with the bal bar dualmaster cylinder setup, but I have experience with gorillaperformance and the owner of the company. He is spamming all the hotrod forums with his product, which he probably never intends to deliver. I read in another forum that lokar makes a similar product that you might actually receive.

Mrgorilla aka dean Oshiro has a reputation for never delivering paid for parts.

This thread contains everything you need to know about gorillaperformance aka dean Oshiro

Thank you very much for heads up on gorilla performance. I checked Lokar and did not see anything on their website offering balance bar set up. I may need to stay with my first plan of using a electric vacuum pump from a cadillac seville...I really liked the idea of the dual master cylinder w/balance bar with it small amount of space it took up in engine bay. Thanks again. I came very close to ordering this system & complete disc brake set up from HotRods USA & surely glad I did not make that move

You could always add an electric vacuum pump, which is what most people do to keep all vacuum operated equipment when using a long duration cam.
