A good restoration book

A good restoration book
I've got about 80% of my 69 Camaro completed, but I'm hung up on the brakes and the wiring. My car came with manual disc brakes which I can't find even a single picture on google of anywhere. I'm also getting hung up with wiring. My harness is in decent shape and I don't want to fork out $360-$500 for a new one.Anyone have any recommendations besides Chiltons or Motorbooks Workshop? Thanks!

Authentic Restoration Guide
Camaro Restoration Guide 1967-1969 by Jason Scott
Good book, not a bible by any means but a large amount of good information and guidance. Barnes and Noble had it on the shelf.

If you need to know where everything goes during a resto, a $20 assembly manual will be worth it's weight in gold. I also have a Chevy Chassis Service Manual specific to the 69 year, which is a reprint of the original manual that GM published in the day. It's an excellent book, and it covers EVERYTHINGyou may need reference to for service, except for major engine overhaul.

I don't know if www.alldatadiy.comhas anyting about the first gens, but it was extremely helpful when I put the V8 in my Jeep.
Nevermind, it only goes back to 1982... but it is good for working on other cars though!!!

I would really second-think your choice about re-using your original harness though. a new harness is cheap insurance against electrial gremlins in the future.
