Default Looking for good reference book

Tried working on the Camaro today in 35-40 degrees in thebarn. The old rubber lines are leaking since I ran some of the new ethanol mixed gas thru it. The owner gave me a brand new stock fuel pump to put on it if I wanted to. He had a electric mounted under the car and thats were the fuel ate thru the rubber. I was going to put on the stock pump but it has 3 connections and all the stock connections are not there anymore. I expect I am going to run into a number of these kind of issues and I find that the "Haynes" type manuals are pretty much useless on every car I owned.

So, does anyone have info that I can use to hook up the stock fuel pump (1 threaded and 2 nipple connections)and any suggestions were to find a good manual?

Thanks

I thought only California emission cars had the three fittings. The threaded one goes to the carb. One nipple is return and the other is a vent back to the tank. The third nipple may just be to reduce vapor lock also. I Think it should be the small one.
Check ebay for older chiltons. The new chiltons are published by haynes so they are the very same worthless book. You can ususly tell the chiltons by haynes are thin like a haynes and have in a yellow corner of the cover "wiring diagrams included" which I don't consider a wireing diagram at all.

MadMikeZ28 you gave me an idea tolook online at Autozone to see what they showed for fuel pumps (California only). What I found if they're pictures are acurate, they show a fuel pump for a Quadra-Jet Carb has 3 connections while a fuel pump for a Holley has only 2 connections. The one I have looks like the one for the Quadra-Jet Carb, large bottom bowl. I guess I'll pick one up for a Holley since thats whats on the engine.
The swap meets will be starting soon so I guess I'll have to keep an I out eveywhere to find an old manual.

Thanks
