Default Getting my dream Camaro

I am getting my dream Camaro,a factory 1967 RS/SS finally.Have always liked this Camaro and a friend of mine that buys and sells classic cars found it for me.He did not screw me on this, does his research and told him I wanted a factory 1967 RS/SS.Took him 5 months to find me one.Found 3 of them before this one, they were not factory being clones.Called me tonight and said it came out of an estate which the man died and his family was selling it.This one I am going to like, has a 396 with the 4 speed and everything works.I have the money saved up and going to pay for it next week Monday.

Awesome! Put up some pics when you can, there's nothing like having a big block first gen of any kind but a real deal '67 SS is pretty special.

He was lucky too when finding this one,had the paperwork showing it's a numbers matching factory RS/SS Camaro.I am going to be the 3rd owner.I always liked the headlights of the RS/SS and remember watching the first commercial when I did my research last year which is this one,

That SS 350 was the first Chevy to get the 350 engine, it was new for '67 and came only in SS Camaros that year.

It did go through a full body off restoration 3 years ago done right. He looked down the quarter panels, dead straight on during the quarter panel replacement.I am also getting a factory shop manual with it including the pictures of the restoration. This friend of mine knows me very well,I want it right.Getting a good price for it,it was a little high and he did tell them he needed meat on the bone for profit selling it to me.Finally did get a good price for it.They wanted $69,000.00 for it and did get it down to $62,000.00.Set my budget for $65,000.00 which would leave him $3,000.00 profit.
