Fuel tank vent
I have a 67 convertible that I'm restoring I want to change the Carburetor to a Holley EFI. I want to keep the original gas tank (like new) and add a vent. I would replace the fuel filler neck with one Doug McMillin sales which is a replacement with a splash out insert and add a bung above the guard and then add the back flow and tip at that point. That would have the vent tube above the filler. Has anyone tried this or have a better idea
thanks
thanks
You want to add a vent?
You have one, in the gas cap
So, if you want to add another vent, have at it
They also make fuel injection fuel tanks for our old Camaros
If you do add another vent, use a newer style rollover vent valve to be safe
They have a spring-loaded check ball in them to prevent fuel spill in case of a rollover
