Good used factory glass is the best option, then polish the hell out of it with triple 000 steel wool
Still kicking myself for letting our glass man replace the windshield in my 69 Boss 302
The new glass is thinner and needs to be "set" correctly for the chrome to fit
Big bummer in the and with my chrome and that cheap **** glass
