ok, today was a good day. for those of you that didnt see my windshield trim thread, it was burnt up pretty bad but I was able to polish it out and it looks like new.

so once I got it all polished out and installed I was able to fit my Cowl Panel. shes starting to come together nicely...

also got my fenders out of storage after 5 years. I hadnt laid eyes on them since the day I took them off the car.

the inside edge were burnt up so I cleaned them up, taped them off and painted them black.

had other things to do today besides work on the Camaro but I walked past it and saw how rough the rear bumper looked and decided to give it a quick polish, it made a huge difference....

Scooch, what are you using on your chrome? The bumper looks really nice has me thinking about mine LoL.
How do you like your wheel dollies that you have under your car? I've seen them a few times and thought about trying a set myself but not sure if I would find them useful or not.

this is the stuff I used on the bumpers guys....



its wadding already impregnated with the polish, you just pull it out and tear off little chunks. Made my Bumpers look like new. It didnt work as well on the SS window trim, but for the chrome its great.

Darrell, the wheel dollies are great. I pull the car away from the wall to work on it and then shove it back over when Im finished. I would definitely recommend them if you are cramped for space. I bought mine at Harbor Freight on the cheap so they dont roll as easy as some of the expensive ones but for the money they work just fine for me.

I have a different idea of what "wadding polish" is!
I haven't used that stuff before, how would you say it compares to the Mothers/Flitz compound?
In the name of science, I think you need to do a side-by-side comparison.

well, the Mothers compound I had was the only thing that would take the black off of the Windshield trim. The wadding was a stocking stuffer from a few years back thats just been sittin on the shelf. I know it works good on the chrome and i thought it was more for Aluminum even though it says "all metals". sorry, never tried Flitz big guy.

I was at Harbor Freight the other day looking at the wheel dollies but didn't no how they roll maybe next time am there
