Oh, is that console lid cracked in the lower left corner, or is that a shiner in the pic?
That's a popular place for them to crack, with the rubber snubber being right under there.
Too many years of elbow weight (or drive-in movies) can do em in.

yes it is but I still have the lid off of mine, it wasnt damaged in the fire and has no crack.

My first 69 had a cracked lid, and that was back in 76. Just don't slammit dammit!!

lol, Ill try to remember that. do you have the factory gauge package? Im kinda goin back and forth on factory or the angled round gauge package. I was leaning more towards the factory gauges then I found out I gotta drop another $120 just to get the voltmeter so now Im undecided.

Don't you get those cheap looking gauges for that Awesome car... They will be an eyesore... Get the right ones our don't get em

lol, yea well theyre not cheap either, they are actually the same price with the exception of me changing the ampmeter out for a volt meter. but yea, I like the look of the originals. and its not an awesome car. thanks for your input BudMan.

Had the same decision to make i Want with the originals with all the money we put in these cars that will be 1 of the most seen parts so I didn't want to go cheap there,
