Dude. this is awsome. It is fully providance that you ran into the guy. Im going to be doing this same thing soon and have been wondering two things.. How to remove the spot welds and how to replace the piece... now I know. Thanks for posting.

yea CT its really easy. the most important thing is where you align the dash in relation to forward or back. theres a spot you use as a guide and once you see it its like a light goes off in your head. I am so thrilled right now but I already have that "what if feeling" because I coulda done this a long time ago. but you can do it man. and even if you drill the spot weld all the way through it doesnt matter because the new dash covers all that up. I had alot more pics just didnt wanna post too many.

Got the VIN put in the new dash, gonna have an officer stop by and verify it then its off to the tag office for the new Tag and Title on Wednesday. having a tough time with what to get.... I came up with something and checked the DMV and its available... was gonna go with SIXT9SS but it has been suggested by a couple forum members that I should go with SCOOCH. Im on the fence. any suggestions?
