Filling the tank
Since bringing my recently purchased 67 home I cant seem to fill the tank.
The hoses at the gas station dont want to seal and even using a 5 gallon fuel jug with a long spout it only takes ~ a gallon and then stops. I also have a problem that if the car sits on an incline in my driveway with the front higher than the back, after the sun beats on it for a while it starts burping gas out of the cap. I have replaced the gasket around the cap but it still happens. It looks like maybe the fill tube where the cap goes on may be bent in a little but not a lot. Any ideas??
Thanks!

Our gas caps are supposed to only vent in, not out. Some pressure building up inside the tank is normal. Have a gas cap that vents out, and you'll get a stream coming out of it when pressure builds.

Thanks Guys, I do plan to replace the filler tube behind the tank, have a new one ordered. I also have replaced the gasket around my gas cap as the old one had cracked
so I wantto see if the new one will help. Appreciate the suggestiouns. Im sure this is only the beginning of all of my questions.
