Dynamat vs Orignal
I've got carpet and original floor insulation out of car. Getting close to putting it back together and was wondering if putting dynamat down in place of original floor insulation is preferred or if dynamat would be an improvement? Is one choice better than the other or a mix of both?

Doesn’t seem to be much output on here? Is ot always like this? Appreciate your answer. Wasn’t really thinking about bedliner. Picked up a gallon kit yesterday. Little more welding on driver floor pan, cleanup and start reassembling. Started out just adjusting door glass. Found strange wire under back seat, chased it to front and ended at begining of firewall. In process came across rotted floor section and brace. Could have micky moused it but that not being right went with removal and replace. Feel much better doing it right. 🙂

It depends where you put it .My car is supercharged and a "T: top cars as well So I am trying to prevent rust and deaden the noise as well, Mine is just a suggestion because it worked for me. And if you decided to do it another way .Thats up to you.

Nope, that sounded like a good idea to me. Found some more old posts on same type of stuff. Trying to prevent anymore rust showing up so sealing should really help. Putting it down on interior floor plus dynamat to help reduce exhaust noise some. might even drop orignal floor insulation on top of that. Appreciate the input. Thanks!
