Default Correct color of Center Link, sway bar, tie rods, etc

Does anyone know what the correct color should be for the front suspension items on a 68 camaro. I bought all new tie rods, centerlink, front sway bar, springs, etc. They all look like a gun metal gray color. Bought all from classic industries, and Ricks, supposedly the better aftermarket parts. I think these are the right color but not sure.
I have my original steering components, they look black but maybe just from years of tar and such.
any help????

The items were put on at the factory and never painted so raw, new metal would be the color unless someone undercoated them. As aeveryone knows, unpainted metal will rust if not painted so gunmetal grey would probably work unless you want a 100 point car.
