**** off, this is my thread. Go start your own.

Plenty of options as far as exhaust I see- will have to consider it awhile. I'm sure there's some things I've missed over- if anyone has any other suggestions in the mean time?

Saint, what do you have in the area of publications? It seems like you have a good idea and I want to see pics of the progress, even make a sticky of it. I have gotten loads of info from books about restoration and such, I sugest you look there for other ideas. personaly I wouldnt do a COPO clone, they just look to plain to me - now if I had a real COPO, that is a different story. stock look all the way.

Pretty much everything is stuff I already knew about or looked up online, in all truth the only Camaro book I have is my Haynes manual for my IROC-Z. I've read a few books on the history of the Camaro and the COPO in particular, but not much as far as actual specifications.

And as far looks- I actually got my ideas from seeing another guy's Camaro in this forum. I want my finished car to look like this, except mine will be a ragtop. I suppose that doesn't really qualify as being a COPO clone at all, does it? More of an SS427, if they'd ever made 'em that way. :P

And unfortunately I'm still a long, long way off from being able to do it. I've picked up another job to save money, but I'm still looking at a year or so before I can get started on anything. I figure in the mean time I will put together a solid plan as to how I want to go about it, what parts I will need to order, and etc, and that's why this thread exists :P
