Default coil questions

Mine is a 68 Camaro with a 427. The distributor is an older Unilite with a new module. I recently had a very old Mallory coil 29219 fail. I had an older Bosch coil at the shop that I installed and it worked. Today I installed a new Edlebrock coil PN 22739. The engine fired right up and runs and sounds great. Do any of you see a problem with these parts playing well together?
Thank you as always!
Scott

Does the Unilite Dizzy spec a OHM rating for the coil it requires?

Mallory (holley) said that the 29219 is correct. Hopefully the ebrock is close.

So far so good. Today I test drove it. Made it home. At hi rpm it did flutter a little. Got to work that out.

Please let me know if you can solve my issue. It has to do with voltage at the coil. I removed the ballast resistor and now have the cloth covered wire going to the + coil. The dist is a Mallory Unilite and the coil is Edelbrock PN22739 Should work in place of Mallory 29219.
Things were great until today on the way home. I could feel it coming on. The spark seems to fade away after 10 miles or so.
I was able to make it home by jumping the coil with full voltage. The jumper went from the back of the alternator to the +coil.
If possible please recommend the best way to power the coil. I have not replaced the ignition switch yet.
Thank you!
