Carb Linkage??

Default Carb Linkage??

Can anyone tell me if I what I am missing here? This just doesnt look right to me. Car starts and runs great. 1967 Camaro, 327, 2 brl. "http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/...ob/Carb037.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

The linkage is just hanging there??

Can anyone post a picture of their carb? 1967 327

I missed this before, that's your choke linkage. See that threaded hole in the intake manifold just below and to the left of the hanging rod? You're missing a little part (cast bracket with a metal cover) that screws on there that contains a flat metal coil. The choke rod connects to that coil, which reacts to intake manifold heat, and moves the rod up and down to operate the choke.

Looks like this, but they don't show a listing for a 2 barrel. Choke Assembly
