Carb Linkage??

Can anyone tell me if I what I am missing here? This just doesnt look right to me. Car starts and runs great. 1967 Camaro, 327, 2 brl. "http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/...ob/Carb037.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I missed this before, that's your choke linkage. See that threaded hole in the intake manifold just below and to the left of the hanging rod? You're missing a little part (cast bracket with a metal cover) that screws on there that contains a flat metal coil. The choke rod connects to that coil, which reacts to intake manifold heat, and moves the rod up and down to operate the choke.
